Leakd is free to use. We don't promise it works perfectly. We can't be sued if you forget to cancel a subscription. Don't try to break the app. That's basically it.
By using Leakd, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. That's fine.
Leakd is a free Progressive Web App that helps you track your own subscriptions on your own device. All features within the app are completely free and unlocked for all users. You can choose to optionally support the development of Leakd through voluntary one-time tips or recurring supporter subscriptions via Google Play, which grant cosmetic supporter badges.
Leakd does not charge for any of its features (including advanced features like email reminders, multi-device sync, year-end spending reports, and category budgets). If you wish to support continued independent development, you can make optional, voluntary contributions via Google Play Billing. These are available as one-time tips (Coffee $1.99, Pizza $4.99, Dinner $9.99) or recurring Supporter subscriptions (Monthly Supporter at $5/month or Yearly Supporter at $40/year). Supporting development grants you a visible Supporter badge in your profile and access to custom app icons, but does not modify or lock/unlock any app features. Subscriptions and tips are managed through your Google Play account.
All data you enter into Leakd stays on your device. You are responsible for backing it up. Use the "Backup & restore" feature in Settings to download your data as a JSON file. If you lose your device or clear browser data without backing up, the data is gone — we cannot recover it because we never had it.
Leakd can send local browser notifications about upcoming renewals and trial endings. These run in your browser's service worker. Browser limitations apply — notifications are best-effort and not guaranteed. You should not rely solely on Leakd for critical financial reminders.
Leakd is a tracking and management tool. Anything that looks like financial advice ("you could save $X", "if you invested instead") is illustrative math, not investment advice. The "Business Expense Report" feature is designed only to help summarize items flagged by the user on their own device. Leakd is not tax or accounting software, does not verify the tax-deductibility of any items, and is not a formal tax voucher or official tax return. Always consult a qualified tax professional or accountant before making tax filings or financial decisions. The developer assumes no responsibility or liability for any tax filings, penalties, audits, or disputes arising from the use of this app.
Leakd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will work on your specific device or browser, or that it will be available at any given time. We are not responsible if you miss a renewal reminder, if a subscription auto-renews you didn't want, or if your data gets corrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to Leakd is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which for most users is zero). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Don't:
Beyond that, do whatever you want with it.
You can stop using Leakd anytime by closing the tab, uninstalling the PWA, or wiping data with "Reset all data". We can stop offering Leakd anytime — though we'll try to give notice if we do.
If we change these terms, the updated version will appear here with a new "Last updated" date.
Under Directive 2011/83/EU (transposed in Hungary as 45/2014. (II. 26.) Korm. rendelet), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts. However, by subscribing as a Supporter or tipping, and beginning to use the digital content immediately, you expressly consent to the performance of the service beginning before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; §29(1)(m) of 45/2014 Korm. rendelet).
You may still cancel your voluntary Supporter subscription at any time via Google Play to prevent future charges. Refunds for past charges are handled according to Google Play's refund policy. For any requests or issues with tips or subscriptions, please contact us at hello@leakd.app.
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary (where the developer is based), without regard to conflict of laws principles. EU consumer protection laws apply where relevant.
